Woops! This video shows the head of McGraw-Hill in an interview with CNBC discussing the Apple tablet. It’s near the end of the clip and doesn’t necessarily confirm anything really. He basically explains that his company has been working with Apple and they’ll be partnering for ebook releases on the new device. He doesn’t say that he’s seen it, but he is very nonchalant when he mentions that Apple will introduce it tomorrow. We’re of the belief that the tablet will be introduced tomorrow and we have great expectations for the device. To see publishers like McGraw-Hill working with Apple to develop better technologies for our classrooms and beyond is wonderful. Maybe there would be initial investment, but costs would definitely go down when you don’t have to buy 8 text books for every kid, each year. Here’s hoping our schools will be able to actually afford the device.
